Oh good, the Saints are on Monday night football, so they can disappoint the whole country by losing to Atlanta 😕

It has its downs, but I genuinely love living in a big city. Had a few extra minutes before a medical procedure today and got off the bus early to just casually walk by a world famous sculpture.

Has anyone seen better photos of this dress? This was one of my favorites but it hasn't gotten a lot of love and this was all I could find on Google.

Wait what?! Fox News actually has a backbone? Seriously was not expecting to see them cooperating here. There's one small success on our descent into fascism?

Chapter 20 of Every Second Counts is up. Idk why I always feel this intense need to apologize when I skip a week of updating, but I do. Anyways, I was sick last week and couldn't write -sorry to leave you on a cliffhanger! archiveofourown.org/works/835389...

Finally have a weekend where no one in my fam is sick or traveling and I have plans tomorrow with my bff to go to a nice lunch and then the big farmers market and I'm going to wear a pretty sundress and enjoy the last gasp of summer and I honestly feel like I'm walking on air I'm so excited.

Ok I made the mistake of starting a story in the comments of a post (I mean, who hasn't done that 🫣). But he's an expanded version of Hollywood royalty Liv and her bodyguard. Continued in the comments.

Who else has their fingers crossed for SVU the musical? Like I wanna see M all sweet and singing off key and then Ice comes out and absolutely kills it.

👀👀👀 ok yes I realize I'm clowning, but there are so many fun things she could promise if speeches are short (btw who even decided this was a problem?). Releasing (or re-creating) the damn kiss is definitely bucket list worthy to me!

Stayed downtown late to get drinks with some coworkers and had to run for the train and it's so weird stepping back into what my life was like before Covid and kids. Absolutely nothing like having an aperol spritz and french fries for dinner on a sunny summer day after work though.

I got on a bus this morning and there was a fussy toddler in the front that immediately quieted when a gentleman with a sparkly stuffed snake around his neck started singing to him. Several other people joined in, and so my bus ride was filled with acapella r&b. I love Chicago.

Actually remember to buy and process cherries (and not just eat them all) for Thanksgiving pies! This doesn't look like a lot, but it's 3 quarts worth.
