Some days, being a teacher is just REALLY hard

Jess 🌻 @allmystars.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

Talking to a friend. I bring up Pope being anti-AI. Friend says the writing is “a little preachy.” I say: “OF COURSE IT IS, HE’S THE FUCKING POPE.”

Handed out my student’s culminating assignment today, which they won’t start working on until next week, and told them it was “in case you disappear on me.” One of them looked me dead in the eye and said “I think you’re more likely to disappear on US.” And, yeah, actually. That’s a fair assessment.

You know what’s wild about adhd medication? How hard it is to get adhd medication 😭. My pharmacy doesn’t have enough stock for a full month’s worth, so now I need to go back next week, which is already a nearly impossible task that is made even more so by the shortage of meds.

I feel like I need to disclose something to anyone waiting on Deal With The Devil and that is the fact that I’m fundamentally incapable of ending a chapter/stopping for the night on anything other than double zeros on the total word/chapter count. This… slows the writing process 😅

Jess 🌻 @allmystars.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

I’m sure there are people who disagree with this for various reasons, and those reasons may be very valid, but I just love seeing artists treating their work like the ART it is

Let me set the scene: 11:30 pm. I’m in my bathroom doing my skin care. Music is playing. “Where Do You Go” by Jessie Murph comes on. Love this song. Gets to this part. Instant thought: this is Castiel‘s crash out song from “Dancing With The Devil”. Can’t unhear it. Don’t want to. #destiel #fanfic

A LOT of words going down in “The Devil You Know,” not a lot of chapters being finished 😬

030

Jess 🌻 @allmystars.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

Reached 5 digits in the word count for “The Devil You Know” and only at chapter 2 🎉

130

Jess 🌻 @allmystars.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

“The Devil You Know” has a lot more back story and I’m actively making myself sad writing it. Chapter 1 is written though, a full 7300 words 😅. This one it going to be MUCH longer than pt 1 and 2

Jess 🌻 @allmystars.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

Part 3 of the “Deal With The Devil” series is in the works. A general outline is done at 32 chapters. There’s a lot more insight into Castiel and Dean’s history, which I’m really excited about. Time to get writing! #destiel #fanfic

I lost my headphones like a month ago and I finally broke down and bought a new pair, which came in today, and GUESS WHO DECIDED TO SHOW UP

Little bitch ass headphones (left) that decided to go missing, then reappear like a toxic ex the moment you find happiness in the arms of another (right).

BTW when I say abolish ICE, I mean abolish it entirely and replace it with exactly nothing. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. That's it.
