My first visit to EPCOT in June 2007 featuring Sorcerer Mickey’s wand over SSE & Year of a Million Dreams!

I’m scrolling through old photos tonight and I keep running across Muppet Courtyard photos. This was taken in front of Piggy’s Fountain circa October 2022.

Can anyone recall who designed the faux movie posters for the Muppet*Vision 3D extended queue? Paul Osterhout mentioned a name at RetroMagic during our conversation, but the artists’ name has escaped me.

I’m politely begging for big thunder to be open by the end of January (and hoping that they didn’t fix the intended wobbliness of the track).

Asking for a friend, is anyone collecting modern day park maps? I’ve been thinking of starting to.

Happy 43rd birthday, EPCOT!

If they offered an option to by-pass the pre-shows, I’d use it every time.

Re Dinosaur show quality: Alio is in awful shape. He was pointed all of the way down, snout almost touching the floor. His tail was moving though. Carno charged. You can see control consoles in the back right before the autopilot scene on the right side.

I bet he has some fabulous stories!

I’m not sure I’m the demographic they want to hear from…

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

It was so nice meeting some folks at #retromagic! Apologies if I was a bit shy!

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

Did someone say cheap 3D tricks?! #retromagic

I can’t wait to see everyone at #RetroMagic!

I see an idea starting to take shape 😆

Between this and the Eiffel Tower set, someone could easily recreate Soarin’ in LEGO!

Out of curiosity, what sets are on your “will never own because they’re too expensive” list?

000

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Small world! Did you go to MSU or have other ties to the school? I actually grew up about an hour away from Starkville + most of the community attended MSU or Ole Miss.

110

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Yes - Hail State! Where were you at?

110

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

Does it work well? Debated on buying this but I’ve never had the need to slice eggs 😅

010

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

If I had a time machine I would go watch the original cast of starlight express (1984)

010

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

Yes, the train closet! Although, the plot idea is a bit too similar to Starlight Express.

Fun fact: this is a full page ad for Fantasmic from the May 16, 1999 Orlando Sentinel! We found information about the opening of IoA, the 1999 premiere of MSEP, and the final weekend of the 6th annual Flower and Garden Fest!

Is it covering electrical or water possible? We noticed some of these in the UK 2 weeks ago.

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

What makes this worse: this is someone who has a booth at Disney Springs. I’ve never seen your work before now, but just a quick glance tells me it should be at FARTS!

110

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

There was an artist at FARTS this year that sold AI “art”.

There were questions about if I purchased any skip the line services (answer was no of course) and if I understood the services.

010

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

And of course, I got a survey.

They took it off of mobile order today for some reason? We brought it to the CM’s attention. Do you mobile order cannolis or do you always have to go to the counter to order?

020

Allison @allioop08.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

Someone needs to do a case study on the “Drinking Around the World” phenomenon of EPCOT. I experienced some… questionable… behavior today in EPCOT.
