You know how the whole trick of ADHD is that you cannot sit down? The one behavior problem with our new dog is that if I do sit down, he will compound the issue by climbing in my lap and then I will stay there forever. (This is, of course, my behavior problem, not his)

Yes. We thought she was a cattle dog mix. But then she started wailing all the time. I took her to the vet, worried she was in pain, but got a diagnosis of “big feelings” and “possibly part husky” so we did a DNA test-she’s a few other breeds, but her behavior is all husky. (She howls to this flute)

It started as a “favorite,” and then it became true. I think it’s like when someone pushes a joke past the point of funny but then keeps pushing to all the way to absurdity and it becomes hilarious. Only in this case it’s a collective and unintentional leap to absurdity
