The land is calling us back. 🪶 On Public Lands Day: ancestors welcome us home. Juan Dominguez (C'ya T'as Red Hawk) teaches: When we're on the land, We awaken our ancestors. LANDBACK is a verb. An action. 💬 Where do you go to be in relationship with the land? #publiclandsday

A park where Indigenous voices lead. A land that thrives because of it. Yesterday was the 64th anniversary of when President Kennedy signed the legislation to authorize Point Reyes National Seashore. Our last remaining ancestral home still stands within the park.

Our Thimbleberry relatives shared their soft red berries at Felix Cove this summer 🔴🌿 Bright red, tart-sweet, hand-gathered. Our Támal-ko/Felix Family tended these plants until the 1956 eviction. Colonial ranchers removed us. But our plant relatives still remember. We are still here. 🎨 #LandBack

National Nonprofit Day 🪶 For 15,000+ years, Támal-ko ancestors thrived along Tamal-liwa (Tomales Bay). Colonial displacement tried to erase us. But we're still here. When we stand with Indigenous voices, the land will thrive because of it. Felix Cove is Sacred. alliance4felixcove.com/donate
