It's such a sliding scale. I've definitely like, sent a doc to an LLM and been like "find any obvious mistakes" and maybe it'll catch some typos or whatever. And I've used Claude to say "hey, I want this function in my code. Does that already exist somewhere?"

Genuinely curious, what are you doing differently? My experience of programming with AI is a frustrating and slow experience of chasing down performance issues and correcting unnecessary changes. I'm not saying it's entirely useless, but I always end up doing the real work myself.
