Did you know, globally, 13% of children experience dental anxiety? We are currently running a 4-year RCT of a guided self-help CBT intervention to reduce dental anxiety in children. The trial includes 600 children in 30 primary dental care sites in the UK #academicsky #behaviourchange #dentistry

Excellent sign found in St. Mary's Church on Holy Island, where we stopped on our way home.

A handwritten sign on the stone wall of a church which reads:

During the summer of 1993, when we were 'celebrating' the 1200th anniversary of the first Viking attack of 793, two visitors from the Church in Norway brought us these two gifts: a letter of reconciliation and a head of King Olaf, who was instrumental in bringing Christianity to Norway.

We all shook hands during a Sunday morning Eucharist here, and we gave them a gift of a copy of an illuminated letter from the Lindisfarne Gospels. So, although we had not previously realised that we were still at war with Norway. Peace was definitely declared.

Guys over 40, but especially guys over 50. Get a prostate test done. 10,000 men are dying in the UK every year from something preventable. Ask your GP for a test or buy a cheap PSA test online. Please, there is zero fucking point in dying because you can't be bothered to do a simple test.
