@criterion.bsky.social flash sale arrived. Also, #Gruv had a three 4K for $30 sale. How do you pass that up? #physicalmedia #criterion #4K #blu-ray #cinema #UniversalMonsters #Hitchcock

Looks like all the holiday 45s I ordered are in. This year's @johnwaterstrash.bsky.social is especially weird. The rest are this year's #SnowflakesChristmasSingles I got turned on to the SCS releases by #JingleBellRocks director Mitch Kezin. #ChristmasMusic #Christmas45s #holidaymusic #SubPop

My 2024 Halloween #playlist is one of my absolute favorites. Sugar Pie DeSanto is incredible. The Cramps, New York Dolls, The Specters, Queens of the Stoneage, Duran Duran, Joan Jett, The Dollyrots, #BeachCreeper #Halloween #HalloweenMusic #spooky #horrormusic open.spotify.com/playlist/4yJ...

Continuing to go through old Halloween playlists before sharing 2025. 2022 ended up being much better than 2021, and has a weird Munsters theme that I never caught at the time. #Halloween #HalloweenMusic #playlist #Spotify open.spotify.com/playlist/4mI...

Countdown to this year's list. 2021 wasn't my best, but I was still new to the scene. It's a bit all over the place. Sadly, looks like Spotify pulled two tracks. #Halloween #HalloweenMusic #playlist #Horror #Spooky open.spotify.com/playlist/6tq...

#UsedBooks from Blue Plate Books in Winchester. Old #EdGorman westerns are still new to me. I miss that man's mysteries. Also, #ScareFilms from old days. #Hygiene #BloodOnTheHighway #paperbacks

#Wendys missed out sticking it to @mcdonaldsjp.bsky.social by not calling the #MealOfMisfortune , their #Wednesday tie-in, the #UnhappyMeal. The mystery sauces and cherry Raven's Blood drizzle were delicious.

#JayneMansfield #AntonLevay #ChurchOfSatan High Priestess for the Devil or publicity stunt? Yes, that's a young Mariska Hargitay with momma Jayne and Anton. Both were keen on self-promotion and liked to party.

Vinyl 2025 Pic 4 People always think I'm joking about my love of holiday music. Hell, I'm the asshole who listens to Christmas music in July. Except for the #JohnWaters , all are last year's #SnowflakesChristmasSingles #ChristmasMusic #vinyl45s #PunkChristmas #Christmas45s

2025 Vinyl pick-ups Pic 3 I've had scores to these 40+ year old anime for decades. Never thought I'd get them on vinyl. My absolute favorite piece of score music is in UY2. Link below. #anime #animemusic #uruseiyatsura #lensman #filmscores #moviemusic

I haven't purchased much vinyl this year. Loads of old-school garage rock compilation cds, but not much vinyl. Here are a few soundtracks. #vinyl #filmscores #horrormovies #horrormusic @terrorvisionvids.bsky.social @mysticvaultrecords.bsky.social

@kinolorber.com is also running a July sale. Most of these were blind buys except the Preston Sturges classic THE GREAT McGINTY and GANJA & HESS with Duane Jones. #KinoLorber #DuaneJones #PrestonSturgess #Felling #Pasolini #Movies

I used the current @arrowvideo.bsky.social sale to build out and upgrade my Japanese cinema collection. Also, Switchblade Sisters. IYKYN Aside from St. John's Wort released by MVD, and Carved, from Tartan, I'm pretty sure that J-Horror set are mostly Media Blasters and Arts Magic upgrades.

Repost with the first album you bought with your own money. @durandurancom.bsky.social Seven and the Ragged Tiger. I was 9 or 10. Those were the cats I knew I had to be if I wanted to get girls. Second album purchased with my own money - Weird Al in 3D. I never got the girls...
