Every December 21st, we honor the individuals who have lost their lives while experiencing homelessness with bronze plaques installed below a highway overpass. Join us as we pay tribute to the 29 individuals who have died in Allegheny County while experiencing homelessness in 2024 and 2025.

Allegheny County’s winter shelter plan launches Nov 15, with 600+ beds for single adults, and nightly transportation from Second Ave Commons. Families can call Allegheny LINK at 1-866-730-2368 for help. We’ll keep sharing updates, data, and resources so our neighbors stay safe this winter.
