Ah. Checking a post on Witchsky solved my confusion on why I saw no images. If it’s more than 4, the app sees nothing ’cause it’s too old. Makes sense. Well there’s no age verify to worry about on alt clients, so might as well change to it. I only gain things. (Message drafts & saved posts \o/ )

Some art, as I said. I only remembered now I didn’t name mark several pieces but I didn’t want to forget to post. So here’s the kitty I did before I was away too. …No, I don’t know what exactly the first critter is either. I was trying to make an alien creature a la Nihilego. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A primarily yellow, four-eared creature with white and green markings/patches. Their tail is long with a green curled tip and their eyes resembled two joined triangles.

It has nine limbs in total: Two legs, two small upper arms and five tentacles in a 3:2 split stemming from the back. One on each side is rounded to a point while the other are flat ended.

Temp name is U.B.O, for Unidentified Banana Organism.

A head drawing of Leafeon, made with colour pencils. It innocently looks towards the viewer, and there are four small, separately drawn roses around the neck. The leftmost is behind Leafeon.

Acrylic marker drawing of Phantom Cat. It’s nestled within a small crop of orange flowers, looking out towards the blue sky which has a coloured segment in front of the head. At the bottom is disconnected grass patches with orange dots to represent more flowers, done to suggest the cat is in a field of flowers.

Hmm, good point. I haven’t sewn before either, so mistakes may be abound. (^^; Looking at the plushies I own has me dreaming big but trying to do all that with 0 experience…I don’t wanna stress myself out at the beginning of learning something, you know? Thank you Val, the cents are appreciated.~

Costs for plushie stuff eats at my insides but I’m determined, so still planning. Half of me thinks I should get the standard materials to begin with, cotton doll or regular plush, but my inexperience makes the other half prioritise what’s easily available to me as I learn. Decisions, decisions…

Slowly getting back into the rhythm since returning home. I drew some things, but I’ll save sharing some art for the weekend or something. Right now I’m taking it easy.

Daily bunny no.3454 loses another one

A bunny with a fishing rod is reeling in a fish, but a seagull steals it from him in midair, dragging the fish along with the line. Another bunny, a fishing buddy, as suffered the same fate, and is climbing out of the water having not let go of their fishing line and been pulled in. Other seagulls on the dock nearby enjoy their pilfered fishes.

Oh it does! Before I got endless stalling when using the app directly. I thought it was a me problem, but guess not. Well a future update might make the app unusuable so if anything, it’s another way to browse without the verification nuisance.

Rin ☆ @alkursyu.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Now to see what shows up on the app, both posts or only this one. Maybe neither. Will the video even work?

Testing video posting on an alt Bluesky client ‘cause my app version’s too old for video posts. I probably won’t be able to see it in said app but hey, that’s why I’m testing. xD My chosen test is “This is why Rin ignores all the blind box Cookie Run merch”.

Ironically this year, my initial thoughts about saving spare funds were regarding the Switch 2. Then art happened. ^^; It’s okay though since it worked out good for my headspace. All the supplies were worth the money. (My PS5’s low space is a problem, but good tools aren’t cheap either…)

Hmmm…I know there’s ways to get around not having a printer when it comes to digital plush patterns, but maybe I ought to consider one to make my life easier. No point now as in a few days I’m staying with a family member for a while, but I can think about it.

Addtionally, though the shipping fees would hurt, I’ve seen so many wonderful critters from small creators, all with consistent quality. If I’m going to buy one, I’d be way better off saving up for theirs. That way I’d receive a loveable friend while supporting their business.~

Rin ☆ @alkursyu.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I’ve mostly slowed down on buying new ‘friends’. Prioritising what would be plush funds for the important ones (if they come out), alongside the supplies I’ll need to attempt making my own. But I caved on this one, because like…Just look at their face. Koko is very soft!

I kinda want to get some ribbon masters from gen 4 to later gens before Pokemon Bank closes. It’s the battle tower/maison and master ribbon that put me off doing it. If nothing else, I could aim for as many ribbons as I can? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wish Bank wasn’t closing at all but it was inevitable.

Daily bunny no.3433 is your handyman

A bunny handyman, with a wrench in hand, inspects a complicated system of pipes inside a wall or crawlspace. Two rats, locals of the area, look on, and there is also a chompy plant from Mario Bros. coming out of one pipe.
