Of course there are the obvious choices, the ones perhaps everybody would pick, they're obvious for a reason, so I wouldn't be afraid of naming them. But when I really started to think about it, there were some other options, less popular movies & shows as well, that happen to have great music.

Was thinking, what are my favourite scores if all time, film & TV? Not soundtracks, but original composed instrumental music. Not individual pieces, but the entire score considered as a whole. To balance out the puerile humour recommendation: El Esteco Don David Blend of Terroirs Malbec is a bloody lovely drop. £9 a bottle, or there abouts, from the Co-Op. Very, very drinkable. On its own, or with a hearty, meaty meal. (Can also make a farcical commedy seem better than it is)

If I have but one tiny criticism of the otherwise truly excellent #MastersOfTheUniverse movie, it's an overreliance on cringe comedy. They established Adam as a fish out of water in both worlds, but kinda hammered it home a little too much. But damn great yo have a villainous villain (Leto aside)

The first two seasons are brilliant. They struck a perfect balance between telling Tolkein's story in a less dense narrative and the feel of the movies. The production values are amazing, the casting is great, the story is riveting. It's top tier TV.

It's bsolutely pathetic. I cast my mind over the roster of Snyderverse DC movies and I can't think of a single one that's worth this kind of effort. I rewatche ZSJL a few weeks ago and I failed to see what the hype was about. To me it's still just Wheedon's with added Snyder frippery.

1am and the sky to my North was doing just that. Clouds pulsating with ripples of sheet lightning, making the whole sky flicker and glow. But so far off that you couldn't hear the thunder, which somehow made it even more eerie and ominous. 49 years and I've never seen anything like it.

Name a movie that flopped at the box office but is actually great. #FilmSky Now celebrated as one of John Carpenter's greatest, if not his actual greatest, works. Released around the same time as Blade Runner, which similarly failed to hit with cinema audiences, but went on to find success.
