Highly recommend #Conclave film. The twist ending alone should be enough to see it getting an Oscar nomination, but possibly that in itself will make it too outlandish for the famously conservative Academy.

Love @richardosman1.bsky.social books. Funniest writer alive. But terrible blood science in #WeSolveMurders. If his next book has 'rare AB neg' as a plot point, I'm sending a contract killer round. Or he can contract me as his blood expert and I'll find him some proper blood-related mysteries.

Interesting transfusion talk to community group yesterday. Were gobsmacked when I told them blood isn't just ABO pos/neg, but has 47 blood systems with 366 different groups (antigens). Mind you, had a few #medical folk in my time say "Just give O neg". Yeah, my profession exists and it's that easy!
