Today P1 learnt how to write and build sums. They took it a step further by interlinking their phonics knowledge and CVC writing skills and incorporating their new sound ‘u’ into their work!

Today P1A learnt about the food and drink that are important during Diwali. We decorated our biscuits by making Rangoli patterns with food dye and paintbrushes. (Lesson 3) E&O: I am becoming aware of the importance of celebrations, festivals and customs in religious people’s lives. RME 0-06a

Lesson 2 of my HWB sequence encourages children to draw their carer/safe adult and share what this adult does that makes them feel cared for! E&O: I know there are people in our lives who care for us and look after us and I am aware that people may be cared for by parents, carers or other adults.
