Just heard from the director of the domestic violence shelter that all their housing money is now frozen, and a booklet on how to act during your ICE visit to hunt for illegals. Welcome to the hellscape that is America. Also a freeze on free lunches. Very Christian.

It’s taken me some days to wrap my head around the events of January 1st in New Orleans. My prayers are with the families of the victims and those who were injured.

As the year ends my question is, why does the shampoo and conditioner never run out at the same time? 🧐

In honor of my brother I ordered the charcuterie at one of his favorite places. We used to hit all our spots for Christmas 🎄 Miss you big guy. Seven years and I still miss you like crazy.

There are days when I wish I could pick up the phone and talk to my mom. It’s been 15 years but I still miss her every day.

After a brutal summer it’s nice to put on a sweater, then take it off, and then put it back on. It’s like weather rollercoaster 🎢 The edits on the new book are moving along much smoother than the thermometer 🌡️

Why oh why can’t we just keep daylight saving time? I have plenty to do outside and I feel too tired to write when it’s pitch black at 7:00.

Good Morning everyone, another bucket list item. Bellini at Harry’s Bar in Venice. The drink was invented here and the clock proves it’s always 5:00 somewhere.
