The stories we hear down here about the Crows... they're not true, are they? They all sound a little far-fetched.

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 6h

You find that curious, do you?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 12h

Well, could you ask someone? I don't want to keep him standing here all day. It's been hours since he's been walked.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 18h

I have no idea. Probably. He was King Maric's best friend. I don't know if that means anything, though... I certainly never considered the idea that it might ever be important.

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

So, yes, that was the extent of our relationship. We drifted apart after that. Very sad.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

We need to get to the beacon! The king needs Loghain to charge!

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I guess all we need to do is stop her father from taking the throne first, right?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Maybe not. You're probably right, I just would have screwed it up like I do everything else. But at least I would have cared.

010

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Do you really want me to do this? Give me a good reason to even consider it.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

A-are you saying... this is a-a dream? But it's so real...

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Yes, you're right. I should be angry for what happened to him, not sad. I shouldn't forget what Loghain did.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

All right. I've come up with one, a question that you can't answer.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

But... you're not joking. You're actually serious. Wow, be killed by the archdemon or sleep with Morrigan. How does someone make that kind of choice?

010

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

No! I can't accept that! We can't just give up!

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

That's right. But I still have... all the abilities of one, of course. That doesn't... make you nervous?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

And I thought you weren't going to stab me in the back. Funny how nothing ever turns out like you thought.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

That... that wasn't too soon, was it?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

No, no. That would just make it worse. Morrigan told him exactly what she thought of him and he actually drove her off with a string of expletives I didn't even know existed.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I'd say it's common sense. We don't even know the whole story yet.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

You think we have better things to do all day then talk about you? Come on, tell me it's not true.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Of course, anything for my favouritest mage ever.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I... I don't know what to say.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I guess I should be thankful that Arl Eamon is far more likely to inherit the throne. If he's all right. I hope he's all right.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Wardens were gathering here, in the Western Approach.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

So. Loghain was killed by the archdemon. I suppose that has a certain amount of justice to it.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Still alive, and believe me, I'm just as surprised about it as you are.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I've never been very good at that. The steeling myself part. I find it better sometimes to just be a little weak. I'm all right with that, really.

081

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

And, if I don't get the chance some other time... thanks. For everything.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

We are friends. I didn't mean to... it wasn't supposed to... (sigh) Let me explain.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I think so, yes. This news we've heard about him being sick disturbs me, though. I wonder if we won't discover that Loghain has come to the same conclusion as we have.

010

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Neither do I, really. But it's too late for that now, I think.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Just agree. All right. I probably shouldn't, but... what's the alternative? We could all be dead tomorrow anyway, right?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

(Laughs) Well, now that you mention it...

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

You think it was easy for me? It's not.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I'm glad we decided to take this route. This is really the best option.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

That would be at their tower on Lake Calenhad to the north. We'll be looking for the First Enchanter, whoever that is.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I would be dead if you hadn't saved my life a dozen times over by now. So let me save yours just this once.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Oh, you know... between all the guilt and the hours spent in solemn prayer, any good templar or priest is just bursting to tell a few good jokes when the opportunity arises.

001

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I'm not worried about that. I think they look interesting, though I'd want mine... smaller. When can you do it?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

That's the rumor. Wait, weren't you...?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

What? What is it you might have done, exactly?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

The education, mostly, but also the discipline. You need to have a disciplined mind in order to use the abilities we have. It was difficult, but rewarding.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Maybe when we're back at camp some night. You know. In a tent?

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

No, I... I suppose not. At least I have a chance to make things right. And I'm not alone.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Yes, I guess you have done a lot for me. You also made me king, as I recall.

000

alistairisms @alistairisms.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

You know what I mean. Either you're with him or you're with me.
