My ideal Friday night is apparently now wine, crisps, George Michael and a book on Stuart portraiture

An utterly dashing “Villiers revealed” exhibition themed tree! Courtesy of my dear friends at Culture Leicestershire 🎄George Villers First Duke of Buckingham as a tree? Queer themed Xmas goodness? Nailed it.

How fabulous is Christmas tree created by the amazing team at Melton Carnegie Museum, inspired by our Villiers Revealed exhibition?! Dripping with pearls just like Gorgeous George himself! 🤩🎄🌈

Close up of a Christmas tree decked with miniature portraits of George Villiers, baubles, strings of pearls and topped with a 17th century style hat
