@Nicolette_boele made her maiden speech at Parliament House & she did not mince her words. Strong words re systemic failures & the importance of collaboration for a stronger Australia for the people not for parties. 👏🏽 👏🏻 👏🏾 #womeninleadership #australianparliament #australianpolitics #NSWpolitics

Honoured to attend UWS Law School’s 30th anni & hear The Hon Virgina Bell AC speak. She spoke re 1930s Tuckiar High Court case. Where the laws are clear even prejudice cannot interfere. Tuckiar was acquitted of murdering a white police officer. The court consisted of 5 white privileged men

Great to be at the #ChangeDirection launch. Mental health for Indigenous people is a human right. My work incl fighting for indigenous like Gus Kuster, who was held indefinitely in detention (featured on SBS's #BelongingNowhere) #IndigenousRights #Statelessness

Today marks 16 years since the "end" of the Sri Lankan Civil War. The perpetrators have not been held to account. I am speaking at Sydney Town Hall at noon today about the genocide and disappeared - an on going crime of global significance. Join us and add your voice to call for accountability.

Mo Munshi will die in Mongolia unless the governments of Australia and the UK step up and work with the Mongolians to bring him home. www.theaustralian.com.au/business/leg... #BringMoHome
