Play England launches its new 10-year strategy today, along with the formation of the first-ever All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Play - hopefully both big steps towards a national play strategy. playnation.uk/blog/2025/05... @eugeneminogue.bsky.social

"If we can design cities around cars, we can design them around children. If we're serious about wellbeing, we must be serious about play. This isn't just policy - it's about rights, equity, social justice - the kind of society we want to be. It's time to give children their childhood back. And it all starts with play!"

🇬🇧 It was a real honour to be asked to raise the Union Flag to commemorate the start of VE Day celebrations in Mangotsfield today. As Armed Forces Champion it is vital that we remember such important events in our history and it is great that the residents of Mangotsfield now have their own flag pole

A very moving service to commemorate the 3 year anniversary of the full scale invasion of Ukraine. It was an honour to be asked to speak and to take part in the music, dance and stories of our Ukrainian community here in South Gloucestershire. #SlavaUkraini
