My electronic musical journey started when I was 11 with 'Oxygene'. Fast forward 6 years, and I was in my first band and had started to accrue synths (that's kinda gotten out of hand now, but I've long since sold all my vintage gear sadly). Apologies for the early 80s flashback!

A really enjoyable first gig last night for Mike and me as Tayus. So many fine people came out on a horrendously wet and windy night to see us - with Sound Effects of Death and Horror and Faex Optim - play at a suitably spooky haunted pub in Edinburgh, the Banshee Labyrinth.

Really looking forward to this. I've not seen him live since '87 at Earls Court, but I've loved every album he's done. I seem to have heard about a track a month in the lead up to the release, which is not my preferred way of hearing an album, but then I'm a dinosaur
