I wrote an essay about the pressure to embrace every new piece of tech — especially home robots — and why saying “no thanks” has become strangely taboo. It’s about Silicon Valley’s weird worldview, the loss of slowness, and the right to have a human home. alinacorbett.substack.com/p/its-okay-t...

I just published another one of my essays (not about star wars, forgive me). But this time about why Limp Bizkit is a spiritually relevant part of culture. Give it a read here: alinacorbett.substack.com/p/finding-go... #limpbizkit #numetal

#starwars This is a good piece and I agree with it (even if I'd quibble a bit about Luke, but I didn't agree with how he was handled anyway). Ben Solo living through the redemption is what makes sense. It's the new thing we didn't see with Anakin. And yes, heros matter to boys (see me & Luke).

Yesterday I published a new essay on Substack about the wounded masculine in Star Wars — how three generations of men tried (and failed) to reconcile power with tenderness — and why the story of Ben Solo still matters. #thehuntforbensolo #bensolo #starwars #reylo #bensololives #kyloren

For the record, I did not enjoy lying about the existence of THE HUNT FOR BEN SOLO, but it really did need to remain a secret…until now!

Also, in the aftermath of the HFBS situation, I asked Kathy Kennedy if LFL had ever turned in a finished movie script for greenlight to Disney and had it rejected. She said no, this was a first.
