How early can we detect neural pathways linked to anxiety risk? In our new review, we discuss behavioral inhibition, maternal anxiety/stress, and infant brain systems involved in attention and control across early development. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Excited to share our new paper www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... Using longitudinal rsfMRI data from 180 infants, we show that developmental changes in attention-related brain networks during the first 2 years of life are associated with fearful temperament, an early risk marker for anxiety.
