A bit of a sparse page for July 8th but honestly I think almost all drawings done in pen are pretty lol (even that fucked up stapler) so i like it - #sketchbook #art

A picture of a sketchbook page, with crosshatching drawings of a fancy teapot, a stapler and the top of an intricate looking building, all done with pen, with yellow squares in the background for a pop of colour

July 4th a few pinterest poses and a beetle, just really enjoying drawing in my sketchbook :3 - #art #sketchbook #pen #ink

A picture of a page in my sketchbook where I’ve sketched 3 women in big dresses and a beetle with its wings spread out across the width of the page. And then gone over it with pen and drawn some yellow stars in the background with an acrylic paint marker
the drawings are marked numerically in the order they were drawn, the beetle being number 1

More crosshatching and drawing just to draw. I’m not sure i like the right side it just doesn’t really speak to me :/ - #art #sketchbook #crosshatching

A sketchbook spread, on the left page there is a cross hatched faucet, a teapot with shoes, a pair of ornate scissors, and an octagonal vase all drawn in pen
The right side has blue text that says “keep fashion weird” and a drawing of a girl in clown get-up and a girl with a mask and pink pigtails

Spread from june 28th where I was rlly obsessed with cross hatching - #art #sketchbook #inking #crosshatching

Ink drawings of two buildings. On the bottom of the page there is a fancy old timey tea pot and two hard candies both shaded with crosshatching

The whole page is cross hatching practice. There are a few different hatching techniques. A few cross hatched cubes and spheres. Two handles similar in their shape and shading to the teapot’s handle on the first page. And a couple squares testing out different textures, including brick, wooden floors, and overlapping metal sheet

I’ve been drawing daily recently I just keep forgetting to post it on here loll also ignore the text at the bottom, it looks aesthetic but it’s just me complaining #sketchbook #pigeon #lilyofthevalley #art

Two pigeons sketched in pencil, with bell shaped flowers around them.
The text at the bottom of the page says “I’m so ready to be done with this sketchbook” and “learn to break down pigeons into simple shapes. Also learn to place subjects on the page better”
The flowers are there because the page felt empty but there wasn’t enough space for more pigeons because I suck at spacing, hence the note

same A5 sketchbook, now showing the full spread, the left page is the same flower that i do not know the name of drawn a bunch of times, the right page is another radish, some strawberries and 2 slices of cucumber

another spread, the left page is various ink doodles, including a star with a clown nose, and a cat head plushie keychain with buttons for eyes. The right page is a bunch of very stylised dandelions

I am deadly serious when I tell you this tumblr post has lived in my head rent-free since I first saw it almost 10 years ago. step one is really just learning to draw because you enjoy it, not to become good at it. Draw what you like. Do you like sparkle???? draw sparkle
