For the first time in my entire life, 4 days before my 36th birthday, I spontaneously had the thought, "I love my life." It was brief and fleeting. The pain that argues with this thought returned almost immediately. But the thought had a moment to happen, and I think that's pretty huge :D

TIL that the biggest contributor to my passive suicidality is my insomnia... and I suppose that makes sense but also fuck. I don't want to live the rest of my life only getting medicated sleep. Most people that I know of between the ages of 25 and 29 this year spent their adolescents assuming they'd take their life before 25... they never pictured a life past a quarter century, & that truly blows my mind!
