110

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

generally i thumbnail multiple versions of the same frames before storyboarding, sometimes after if i feel my storyboard either isnt clear enough or i have other ideas while sketching, but i also do tend to storyboard the specific frames i envisioned while writing first

okay i PROMMISSEE im still drawing, im just taking my time with it, having one of those artist journey moments where you think all of your old art sucks and you have to lock in really hard (im told this is improvement) anyway close up WIP! jesus it looks messy up close back up a little actually

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

every time im working on a drawing i think to myself "man if i could work on this for like another hour i bet it'd be pretty good" and then dont, because i am evil

oh also want to mention my other oc Andromeda (who i actually have posted here!) is a half Noigosa, typically half breeds of Noigosa only gain one of the three major traits, (sometimes two, but thats rare) Andromeda gained the large eyes trait, which is why she doesn't look too noticeably different

010

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

On top of using magic to amplify her already intense voice, she also has a cybernetic implant located on her neck, this implant adjusts her vocal chords and palate for the least amount of damage when singing loudly or screaming.

110

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Noigosa in particular are naturally the most proficient magic users in my setting, right ahead of elves (who also evolved from humans!) Anzé is well versed in magic use, but she prefers using it to amplify her singing voice, making her a local niche celebrity known for her hauntingly good voice.

110

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Woah she has antennae? and a tail? how strange, how queer! Anzé is a race evolved from humans known as Noigosa, when human evolution began to split in my setting due to various factors (ill do a magic system lore drop eventually but it has to do with that!) Their key traits also include larger eyes!

120

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

a new challenger appears! meet Anzé, this one is less of an official ref sheet like selkie's yesterday (though theirs wasnt really either) She's a singer who works at the same bar as selkie! like yesterday, lore in the replies ->> #ocart #ocsky #oc #art #digitalart

010

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

i wish there was a way i could separate all of my fantasy setting ocs from my comic ocs and my fanart on my account

010

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

The effect they have on selkie in particular is relatively minimal besides random disconnects, the strangest effect is that they have fully disrupted selkie's internal clock, making selkie fully nocturnal!

010

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

In total Selkie has 10 implants, replacing various parts of their body, in universe however large amounts of cybernetic enhancement isnt actually all too common, as such not a lot of research has actually been done into the effects it can have ->

110

𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐄♡ @alienvirtue.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Selkie appears to be human (although they are like 40% cybernetics) but they were actually born an elf like my other oc illiya! Selkie has dealt with a lot of body dysmorphia their whole life, so they started slowly replacing the parts of their body they hated the most, starting with their ears. ->
