If you're ever passing through Mitchell, Oregon, and you're hungry, do yourself a favor and eat at Tiger Town Brewing. The food was great, the atmosphere relaxed and inviting, and the service was excellent. I had a canned-on-demand Tiger Town Loch Lomond Scottish Heather Ale and it was superb.

We laughed the morning I took this pic because despite having this tent, which we love, for 4 years now, this is the FIRST TIME that we've ever set it up that it doesn't sag, lean, or look like it was erected by someone from the Trump administration 🤣 Clyde Holliday State Rec Site in Mt Vernon, OR.

We saw these Bighorn Sheep plus whitetail deer, mule deer, pronghorns, a coyote, wild turkeys, magpies, other birds, lizards, and all sorts of insects on our trip. My husband uses the Seek app to identify new species of flora and fauna and to log them into his Life List. It's not 100% but good.

This poor girl had her hoof stuck in some twisted fence wire but we and a couple from Pendleton stopped and were determined to get across the small but swift stream and up the steep hillside (hard to tell in the video but it was indeed steep) to help her. Luckily, she got herself out instead.

The husband and I spent 3 wonderful, relaxing days at Wallowa Lake State Park in Joseph, Oregon, last weekend, then moved to Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site in Mount Vernon for a night, and then on to Tumalo State Park near Sisters, right on the Deschutes River, for a night. It was all amazing

A Federal judge is forcing Oregon to release mentally unstable people charged with rape and murder - and we have a metric fuckton of them on our streets already. I hope one of them finds that dipshit judge and shares their mental instability in the same way that put them in prison! 🤬 WTF???

What a mere 30 minutes of blackberry picking yielded at a local county park with my gorgeous sweetheart husband on this perfect afternoon. These are Himalaya blackberries, one of several varieties found locally. Blackberries are my favorite fruit. I think I 'sampled' this many while picking. 🐷😁

My husband and I recently attended our niece's quinceañera, my first. It was beautiful. Here are the grandmothers (abuelas) having a bit of trouble - but managing - to change her tiara, marking her transition from princess to queen. But she's still our princess! ❤️
