Had so much fun interviewing Xand van Tulleken for Prospect Magazine about his funny and informative new book Make Me Well exposing the money-making sleights of hand behind commercialised wellness, and why we should spend more time with friends. www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/views/people...

Really happy to see my piece on the brain science of learning in the FT’s Upskilling report, which is online today. A big thank you to everyone who contributed their thoughts and to the researchers whose work I’ve cited. on.ft.com/47j4jOz

If you’ve ever wondered about NHS information governance and employment tribunals, do read this by @tommygreene.bsky.social‬ on the case of Dr Chris Day. Multiple disclosure failings, the attempted destruction of 94,000 emails. Yet still the judge found for the employer.

Can't imagine being a medieval monk was much fun, but there's something incredibly restful about a monastic ruin. Battle Abbey on a sometimes sunny Bank Holiday afternoon - the Saxon cake in the cafe was good too!
