Last one for tonight: Larsgadiel, a NES-inspired metroidvania It looks good (I'm in my NES pixel art era). It also looks really difficult. I didn't manage to beat the boss There's an optional CRT filter, but for this game I think it looks better when turned off

Songs of Glimmerwick is a game about being a witch and talking to people It's really beautiful, a lot of care was put into all those assets. The game looks pretty big too, with a story and a large map to explore

SiN Reloaded is a classic FPS. Run around a level, kill aliens and bad guys, that's it Apparently it's a remaster of a 1998 game which I didn't play. Fans of it will probably like it. But nostalgia aside, there's much better boomer shooters out there

Toy Tycoon is a game about managing a toy shop It's kinda like those Kairosoft games, but slower paced. Not bad but I would love to be able to fill an entire shelf in one click instead of having to drag and drop each item

If you are doing frontend, you should give Gea a try. It's a javascript framework that's so minimalistic a basic todo app can be minified to a mere 121 bytes. It is based on JSX templates like React so it will feel instantly familiar. The rest is just plain good old Javascript. #javascript #react

I've been playing a bit of Heroes of the Seven Island ( @heroes7islands.bsky.social ). It's a very fun RPG that makes you feel like you're playing a cartoon version of Might & Magic Even though it looks cute, the game is surprisingly deep, with a multi-layer class system and a ton of quests to do
