I had a lovely day out in the Scottish borders yesterday. I took my daughter to a few of my favourite places. Although, we had to skip a couple of places because we were delayed by traffic, but that just means we have an excuse to go again; it's not too far away to be honest.

Christopher Nolan is the most overrated boring director. I keep getting sucked into the hype and paying good money to be bored to death. Even when given incredible source material, he still manages to make it a sleep-fest. It's not his filmography, it's his story telling. Glad I read the Odyssey.

A sonnet I wrote in the style of the graveyard poem. There is a lot of symbolism in this poem, the flowers are chosen with purpose and deliberately placed. The colours too add hidden meaning. It plays on mortality and eternity, the bell is technology, communication vs nature. it's deceptively deep.

I want to explain why I took a photograph. This is a place I passed in London. What I saw was graffiti on the wall, which for me is urban decay, representing poverty and decline. And in the background a fire escape, which for me are steps representing a social ladder; escape from poverty.

I got to march at London Trans Pride thanks to the Museum of Transology who invited me to share some of the work I have been doing to set up Hexham Pride. I donated a few items to the museum tracing my activism from 2019-2026. It was an incredible couple of days and really valuable. #transpride

Went to see the photo exhibition at the Baltic, Gateshead by Tish Murtha & Kuba Ryniewicz. An excellent mix of working class and queer photography that is definitely worth checking out. I was inspired to snap more than a few photos of my own.
