Bought some new TTRPGs today. The D&D Starters Set because I like starter sets and wanted to see how WotC tackled it. Memento Mori because it looked cool, and some of my favorite Italians (Two Little Mice) were involved. Marvel MRPG because Matt Forbeck.

I would have loved to keep every Mythic Carpathia vaesen on single spreads, but it was impossible. When just the text for a vaesen fills two pages, there is *no way* for me to fit the text *and* the image on one spread. 1/2

Here you can see the contents of the three ‘booklets’. The punched hole is so you can thread the pages onto the included keyrings. The page size is 70 × 30 mm, and I can tell you that layout is kind of challenging when you only can fit eight lines of text to a page.

In August, I got a break from all the TTRPG stuff to typeset some fiction. De dödas stad is the third and final part of a trilogy set in the world of KULT: Divinity Lost – which, of course, is a roleplaying game. From Free League, though the game it is based on is published by Helmgast.

Exactly ten years ago, to the day, I was accompanying Free League Publishing to Dragonmeet in London, where they would release their first English TTRPG. Mutant: Year Zero, co-published with Modiphius, would earn Free League their first ENnie, and place them on the international TTRPG map. 1/2
