President Trump and his Administration use the law to attack opponents, but are happy to ignore it when it suits them. Even more than affordability, I believe that we want a government that we can trust.

I agree with this 100%! As much as Americans want affordability, I believe that we want -- most of all -- a government that we can trust. That is not the case with President Trump, his Administration, and the Congressional Republicans. Laws without consequences are worse than no laws at all.

Remember that President Trump's top priority above all else is to stay out of jail. He will do anything he can to delay that by just one more day. He's not going anywhere. At least, not voluntarily.

"Heating oil is up 80%." Heating is a larger part of the cost of living for people in Maine than it is for much of the rest of the country. Their cost of living is going up by a lot more than current 3.4% CPI. Will impact their views of President Trump and his Congressional Republican enablers...?

I hope that you will also fight for equality in K-12 public education. There is no justification for one child getting a good education while the child across the street attends a sub-standard school district.

Everyone -- citizens or otherwise -- who are detained by ICE or CBP and subsequently released without charges, MUST be fully compensated for personal and property damages by the government. There must be consequences if we are to stop these illegal actions.
