Damn, not sure if I can do much for it at this moment. Unless someone can give some advice on how to fix or clean this. It gets energy from the battery and the screen works but none of the button imputs work except for reset.

Well that one is a bit complex and has a lot of small parts so I recommend getting it. but not building it until you feel confident enough to do so. If you do wish to start, I recommend gunpla kits of the HG variety and basic hobby tools.
