Marian apparitions never gripped me. Knock, Lourdes, Medjugorje... always the same. Then I understood: repetition is the point. Always a child, a place, a figure. Working on the game, I realized the child never gets to be herself again. She becomes “the girl who saw the Virgin”.

Thank you! It’s definitely one of the main inspirations, though I’d say it’s sort of like GK had grown up a bit over the years 😅 Development is around 80% done, but there’s still a lot of testing, polishing, etc. left to do.

Tbh, I think nowadays a lot of people are more interested (even if they don't realize it) in puzzles where the way you solve them ties into the story and lets you get to know the characters or the world better, rather than puzzles that are just hard. So I don't see an issue there.
