We have our first suspected case of a major AI-conducted hack of the banking system. Thieves stole useful info (not cash) from South Korean customers. So we enter this new era with a slew of unresolved questions: about liability, and about new risks — to institutions, the economy and evencurrency.

An election result many Quebecers can live with: -A PQ government with no ability whatsoever to hold, or even credibly threaten, an independence referendum -A still-strong Liberal party -A new conservative option is born A disappointing result for the progressive Quebec solidaire though

When I was a kid, I met Rocket Richard at the grocery store. In my corner of Montreal. He signed a book I was reading. Almost 40 years later, I finally did it justice; got the pages framed at a shop, in my corner of Ankara. The Rocket flew with me to Turkey.

One of the several reasons this is dumb is 'Super Intelligence' already exists as the colloquial term for a hypothetical future A.I. so advanced it'll leave humans in the cognitive dust. Now they have to invent two new terms for him. A domino effect of dumb vocabulary

Should I be worried my Habs are 3-0 this preseason? I plotted out 433 NHL team-seasons and it turns out Stanley Cup winners usually.... suck in exhibition games. Made an interactive chart with it.

No mystery why the president would be promising cheaper farm inputs, six weeks to a midterm. The mysteries I'd be keen on unravelling are: 1) Who planted the 'Belarus' idea in his ear? 2) Who told him this was either feasible or politically smart? Source: RCP

Maybe. But some of the criminal negligence laws in certain European countries are pretty strict, and if you deploy a model that kills citizens of the EU, Canada, or other foreign countries, you have to figure arrest warrants would follow. Voters in those places would demand it.
