A Russian OWA drone targeted a municipal outpatient clinic in the city of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine this afternoon, wounding 5 civilians. The entire building is put out of service for weeks if not months (with winter setting in in the area in about 7 weeks at the latest).

IMPORTANT: Just as I suggested earlier, Donald Trump's supposed Russia diesel "deal" might be illegal under US law, unless and until US Congress receives an official explicit "certification" from POTUS stating that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has ended.

VIDEO: First hour of the rescue operation in the city of Zaporizhzhia in central Ukraine last night where a Russian glide bomb strike killed at least 11 civilians. Rescue Service and policemen work in body armor and helmets due to the high risk of Russian follow-up strikes on first responders.

Impact math quickly done by @euanmacdonald.bsky.social : the pretext for lifting sanctions off Russia was a volume of Russian diesel that, IF delivered to the US market, would only cover THREE DAYS of domestic American consumption.

IMPORTANT: US Treasury "temporarily" lifted US sanctions off export of diesel fuel from Russia. It's certainly a relief for the Russian war economy, but I'm not qualified to say how much of a relief. All I know is that Russian export of diesel has always been MUCH smaller than crude oil export.

Meanwhile, Russian drone strikes here in Kyiv have continued throughout the day (incl. right now). Three people have been killed and 14 injured. Among the military targets struck by Russians in Ukraine's capital today: a shopping mall; a construction supplies storage (tiles and cement bags seen).

Yesterday in Odesa, an old style Russian piston engine drone was shot down the old way: with machine guns and an interceptor FPV drone. Kyiv is swarmed by mostly jet drones nowadays.

The Northern Bridge in Kyiv is being wrapped in fishing nets: an anti-drone measure typical in the near-warzone areas of Ukraine. The public is somewhat sceptical as this type of fortification only helps against smaller drones which are so far rarely used in Russian attacks here.

Yet another step in Kyiv's traumatic adaption to The War: only one metro train at a time, in any direction, will be allowed to the Southern Bridge in the peak hours😣 due to the threat of Russian terrorist strikes on bridges. The bridge, of course, was designed to carry more than two trains.

Three years ago on this day, 59 civilians were murdered in the Russian terrorist missile strike on the village of Hroza in eastern Ukraine, so far the single largest loss of civilian life in The War. Russians went great lengths to prepare a deliberate attack on a wake for a single fallen soldier.

IMPORTANT: For the 1st time since 2021, the US is importing potash from Belarus, via Russian port. Belarus, a de facto part of RU economy, used to be under US sanctions: first for the brutal 2020 crackdown on protests, than for the MASSIVE aiding and abetting in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In my understanding, the most recent Russian drone strike on Kyiv's Northern Bridge today successfully targeted the heating pipe under the road surface. Mayor Klitschko warned about disruption of hot water supply for 100,000s of homes in the Left-Bank neighborhoods due to an enemy strike.

Today Russians are hitting the Northern Bridge. At stake is the main link to Troieshchyna, one of Europe's largest bedroom districts on Kyiv's Left Bank. Million+ people live there (incl. 100,000s of war refugees). If the bridge is closed, they will be commuting to work 6 hours daily (round trip).

Speaking of global maritime shipping: right now, 10 Russian Banderols [budget cruise missiles] swarm the ports of Larger Odesa in southern Ukraine, from 3 directions. There are few feasible alternative routes, so less Ukrainian grain will pass, and more Arabs and Indonesians will skip their meals.

No, kids, there won't be a "decrease in global demand for fossil fuels in 5 years" or 15 years for that matter. "Experts" saying otherwise are shameless agendists paid by the Green Mafia to ignore all evidence to the contrary. Like the fast growth of cities or massive re-militarization worldwide.

US aid to Ukraine is largely halted while Ukraine is forced to urgently buy cheap-ish but shitty Chinese civilian pickups for frontline military logistics. Washington should resume Biden-era direct vehicles aid, not least to keep Ukrainian defense procurement dollars out of China automakers' hands.

Hilarious twist of traitor's fate. In 2014, a prominent firebrand Ukrainian lawyer moved to Russia-occupied Donetsk, apparently due to mental issues from mourning husband's natural death. Yesterday she posted she was about to be arrested and killed in RU jail, called for everyone to flee Russia.
