it came out really well!! i've never really gotten the hang of markers tbh i'm always impressed when people can use them to make a cohesive composition like this

alex @alexotls.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

alex @alexotls.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

damn i dont want to go to work i want to think about anime characters

061

alex @alexotls.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

wait hold on this is such a genius take on the death loop i never really considered it like in the context of his "defeating my weaker past self" ideology

020

alex @alexotls.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

yeah the anime definitely goes in a more supernatural direction than the ambiguity of the manga - i think both approaches are fun to think about but i love any scenario where they're both aware of each other and living their life :,^)

CUUUUTE i love how they have the same face but the expressions change so much! it's always so interesting thinking about what they were like when they were younger

doppio+diavolo daily life compilation #jjba #doppio #diavolo

An illustration of Vinegar Doppio cooking pasta and using King Crimson's arms to assist him. He's holding a zucchini as a phone and saying, "Huh? Oh, I'm just cooking right now. You can have the arms back if you want." He thinks to himself, "I coulda sworn I bought 2 zucchinis..."

An illustration of Vinegar Doppio holding a baby Trish Una and balancing a baguette phone on his shoulder. He says, "B-Boss, I don't know how to take care of a fu- a freaking baby!!"

An illustration of Diavolo holding Coco Jumbo over a small fishbowl and talking to Doppio on the phone. The dialogue reads:
Doppio: "No, you can't keep him in a fishbowl!"
Diavolo: "Turtles live in the water, don't they?"
Doppio: "He needs a tank!"
Diavolo: "It's a stand user, Doppio. It'll be fine."

An illustration of Vinegar Doppio sitting on the floor of his hotel room wearing shorts, a baseball cap, and an I <3 Roma T-shirt. He's sweating and holding a melting ice cream cone. He says, "What kinda piece of crap hotel doesn't have AC, huh? Boss, we should kill the guy that owns this shithole." Through the phone, Diavolo says, "A disgrace indeed, but I'd appreciate if you could refrain until the job is done."

this article had some interesting suggestions: lastcallmedia.com/blog/accessi... but all of them are working on the assumption that you're reading a webcomic on a dedicated website that you've already sought out, not just scrolling through social media and getting bombarded with a wall of alt text

020

alex @alexotls.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

hmmm alt text seems to be a lot easier to add and access on this platform so i'd like to add it to all my art but i'm not sure how to do it for comics. should i just give a general description or write it out like a script?? both seem kind of impractical for anyone using a screen reader
