Quick #gamedev update, had some issues surrounding my armature and meshes and I'm having to redo them again + over 2000 frames of animation. The woes of being a Blender rookie. It's annoying how a slight armature change can break every animation. Snippet of the new mesh:

Finished Alan Wake 2. Phenomenal game overall. The environments and exploring the Dark Place as Alan Wake is where the game is at its best. Every bit of graffiti or sign having something to say. It's a bit spectacle over substance at times but the spectacle is insanely peak. Stellar writing as well.

One thing I wish Mario Kart would do is what Crash Nitro Fueled did in regards to stats. Make the character + kart purely cosmetic, then the player picks whatever optimal "engine". Every race being filled with 20 baby bloopers is dull.

Started tinkering with a few synths to make menu SFX and I'm convinced Sound people are wizards. "Yeah just set the wibbly wobbly line and turn up the skidoodle modulator with a dash of reverb and boom its the cancel sound from Silent Hill 2"
