To everyone who came from far and wide to party with us, thank you kindly! And to Meguro-san, thank you for creating so much incredible music, and for coming all the way to Europe to celebrate it with us!!

They've done multiple sold-out game concerts before based on other game soundtracks, but one of their dreams was always a Persona concert with Meguro-san on stage. You can say they achieved that dream with Colors Flying High. I'm so proud of them!

And the absolute best ambassadors were the organizers: the Game Music Foundation, a small group of friends and gamers from Poland who, just like us, spent way too much time playing Persona and fell in love with its world and music.

But my favorite part was the Persona fans who showed up!! The love radiating from that crowd was on a completely different level. Even the backstage crew felt it, dancing with me and asking how music from a videogame could possibly be this good.

A Big Band Jazz ensemble & two solo singers from Poland, a British orchestra on strings, an African choir on backing vocals, an Afro-Italian host, and Meguro-san, composer of every note, straight from Japan. @gamemusicpl.bsky.social created something greater than the sum of its parts.

Watching the man behind the music I've loved for years play it live is something I'll never forget. This concert hit different because the organizers built it like a Persona fusion IRL:

I had the honor of hosting the show, cracking Persona jokes, and I even got to play some live bass! But the real magic? Meguro-san performed too, totally slaying with guitar solos and awesome riffs on song after song.

Fans traveled from all over, and the second Meguro-san stepped onto that stage, the whole hall gave him a standing ovation. You could feel years of love pouring straight to him. It gave me chills.

With Persona's composer & hero of mine: Shoji Meguro !! Last week, I got to share one of the most unforgettable evenings of my life on stage with Meguro-san: the very first Persona 3, 4 & 5 live concert to ever take place in Europe. 🧵

Nobuo Uematsu is one of the greatest composers of all time. His work made an entire generation fall in love with music, and inspired countless people, like myself, to become musicians. We had a short chat, and I was grateful to hear that, even after all this time, he's still on that same mission

One of the best session guitarists I had the pleasure of working with! You took quite a few of my tracks to a whole new level man. We shall cook together again soon enough!

I’m glad you liked the game!! @awintory.bsky.social was kind enough to have me play bass on the Persephone track and we came up with a small piece of background together for the underworld club. It was one of my first game gigs and a fun one!!
