My most controversial opinion is you don't need to start that club. It probably exists. Join it. Learn from the elders. If you don't like how it works 1) maybe you don't understand why and you should or 2) organize a takeover. Life's not a college application. You don't need that "founder" bullet.

AI is not killing everyone (yet). The industry simply cannot afford to keep chasing a non-existent goal while making no money. So they're trying to collectively slow down without risking popping the bubble and tanking their valuations. That's it. That's what they're actually afraid of.
