As a rule, thanks to the nature of DC’s sliding timeline, characters in the DC universe almost never have their ages specified. Vertigo’s Hellblazer was unique in that regard. But now that he’s a full fledged character in the DCU again, his official age is “Adult.” #ngl

Steel had a sort of Batman/Catwoman thing going for a bit with White Rabbit in the 90s, but nothing really serious until Lana. He had a professional relationship with Shauna Beryl with the DC police that never turned romantic. His stories just weren’t usually romance-focused. #ngl

Since I’m having a hard time searching for this information: Did Steel have any love interests before Greg Pak paired him up with Lana Lang?

There was an alternate group in the 2015 Darkseid War storyline to make it less Greek/Roman mythology-focused and tie them more into wider DC mythology: S’ivaa, H’ronmeer, Anapel, Zonuz, Atë, and Mamaragan. Ain’t nobody was gonna remember that shit. #ngl

What's your take on how DC should handle heroes who have "aged out" of being Teen Titans? I get the logic behind books like Titans or moving Cyborg into the Justice League, but neither has ever seemed like a good fit.

I have a similar attitude towards Marvel media as I do the comics in that I don’t really have any desire to get deep into it or stay “current,” but I’ve seen a few here and there. I haven’t seen an Avengers movie since the first one, and I watched about half of the Netflix era Marvel shows. #ngl

I would call it a useful reference guide for your OWN idea of Batman, if you are ever called upon to write Batman. But the beauty of Batman is that no person’s conception of him is exactly the same as someone else’s. You’ve made something for you. And you know what? That is enough. That is valuable.

I wrote an outline of what i think is an interesting take on the full life start to finish of Batman, is this professionally useless? How does someone take an interest like this and turn it into something that isnt just fanfic?

I’d say it’s situationally dependent. Both have their place, and it’s all about whether you’d like to see a larger collaboration, or each individual team take on the same premise in their own way. Both are interesting. My preference is for when they’re done well. #ngl

Between Bad Seeds and Kingdom of Zod we have two different types of crossovers going on right now. A Triangle era full story line, and a setting shift where all the characters in a city are having their own arcs in the same theme. Which style of crossover do you prefer?
