A moment of trans joy: I have successfully confused the fuck out of an old coworker. Visiting family at the hospital and I see him pass by, I say hi. He awkwardly nods and keeps going, clearly thought I was a stranger who thought he was someone else. While leaving that night I luckily saw him again

Mental health did a hell of a backslide. Groceries are... not going to be a thing for a while. My state signed a bathroom bill into law. And I feel very alone right now. My own country hates me even more than I hate myself, which is an accomplishment I didn't think possible.

Despite current events shitting on my mental health, I am determined to keep moving forward. After years of depression eating I've been teaching myself to cook a proper meal. I tried my hand at a stir fry and I think I finally did okay at it. It ain't the best, but it's my best thus far. 💜
