There's a new NonPlatonic Forms demo up on Steam and Itchio, with more to play! Are you ready for First-Person Struggling, or are you more the type to rack up those Good Boy Points?

Ugh, I'm trying to cut this trailer to the beat, but my eyes are just too slow and the soundwave is virtually uniform. I just have to keep repeating to myself that I'm an amateur at this; my best is all I can do!

What’s a poster you had in your room growing up? I can’t find a better copy of this, but my parents told me it would be polite to write a letter and tell the folks who made Zorro 1990 that I enjoyed it. They were kind enough to respond with this poster and a letter of their own.

Finally getting to sit and crack open my physical copy of volume one of @pompoison.bsky.social’s Little Death! I got caught up with the current comic beforehand, but I know that this is just going to kick off a full reread. Sweet dreams, Ellery ❤️

I discovered a thread and leaned into it. The biggest impact games have on me is to "give permission." Short or long, half-done or unfinished, each of these games took a sledgehammer to walls in my mind and told me to go frolic and I'm so happy they did my9games.com/s/7463d50d18...

A nine games grid:
The 7th Guest, Emily Short's Galatea, Fable 3
Fallen London, Deadly Premonition, Date or Die
Ace Attorney Higurashi When they Cry, The Stanley Parable

Today's tea is Wild Berry. My iced tea days are numbered; one last cup in before autumn arrives tomorrow. This tea ices well, and when paired made the shortbread taste like a very nice and fruity jam cookie. The rosehips and apples add a crisp flavor that makes the berry taste all the more juicy.

Today: Rose Marzipan. I've always been a sucker for a good black tea with vanilla and rose. The tea stays rich and bright with a heavy rose scent, and the shortbread achieves full richness. I've never been to a high tea before but I assume this is the effect they'd be going for.

NonPlatonic Forms: A theologically spicy visual novel about a trans man loving the artistic process a little too literally. As the lines between reality and the fantastical begin to blur, they reveal a world he'll have to fight to remain alive in. store.steampowered.com/app/3035800

Since I have recently come into possession of a somewhat intimidating tower of high-quality Scottish shortbread, I'm going to try to find the best pairing for it. Today: Chocolate Chai Pu-Erh. It's earthy and soft, light on the chai. As I went back and forth, the shortbread coaxed out the richness.

I was about to ask if this was just a glib joke, but a cursory search shows that no, Sondheim actually was a puzzle game enthusiast and did invent games in his spare time and loved Myst.

I read The Infinite and the Divine with only a loose grasp on 40k lore. It was all the more fun, being like Orikan, an observer to this strange galaxy, with a mad archivist enthusiastically dragging me deeper in. The Wicked and the Warped was another exhilarating tumble through space. Recommended!
