If I stay up and they lose this game I’m going to be pissed

Amazing how a powerplay can change the momentum

030

Wow a powerplay! Crazy

Powerplays now at 4-0 Vegas. That tracks for the NHL

Might be time to shake up the lines again

Tom Cuise trying to single handedly bankrupt Skydance and you gotta respect that

Bobrovsky give up less than 3 goals challenge

000

We should all be thankful that Kerfoot saved his goal and assist for his game against Montreal.

McKenna and Cowan contributing meaningful points for the Leafs is huge and will make all the difference over last season

Wasn’t sure about Roslovic before tonight but he proved what he can bring and belongs in the top 6. Good defensively, slick goal and an unreal save at the blue line on McKennas goal.

Nothing lifts the spirits quite like a Leafs win

000

The McKenna goal was the turning point. Felt like that really lifted the team. Changed the mood. Could have folded after Nashville went up 4-2

McKenna and Roslovic breakout games.

Holy shit the Leafs have scored more than 2 goals!

Seems like the OEL magic has worn off. He’s back to being in buyout territory

000

Stolarz looked like his old self tonight. That’ll be important going forward. Should be doing a 50/50 split between him and Bob while both healthy

Alex @alexinthe705.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Cowan from Roslovic and Rielly. Just like in my dreams

000

Feeling a big Leafs win tonight and first point for McKenna.

Tomorrow nights key to victory: More Troy Stetcher apparently

000

Not sure what to make of Bobrovsky tonight. He was fine I guess. Don’t recall any huge saves and the goals against were kinda fluky.

230

The Leafs were never going to go 84-0. Maybe 82-2

000

The Leafs were fine tonight. Couple fluky goals for the Habs. Nylander, Cowan and Marchenko all looked good.

Is Quinn Hughes available?

000

Just give us 4 McKenna goals and an OTL and we’ll all go home happy

Should have dragged Merzlikins out there to stand with the other injured guys

000

Sportsnet trolling is in mid season form I see…

Sportsnets top 23 NHL prospects under 23 list showing number 2 overall pick Ivar Stenberg in 1st over Maple Leaf prospect Gavin McKenna

Not sure Vladdy in a gambling ad talking about taking a walk is an effective message. Could have really used a few more home runs

Getting let down by Toronto sports is as easy as 1, 2, 3

Shows the Leafs losing 1-0 and 2-0 and the Jays losing 3-0

220

Don’t care for Ahktyamov getting thrown to the wolves in Montreal

110

McKenna demoted to the 3rd line already? Wtf

Alex @alexinthe705.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

The best part about the split squad game in Montreal is the first period in Toronto will be done before the one in Montreal gets through the pregame ceremony.

000

Even if the Jays rotation wasn’t 3 castoffs in a trench coat, they can’t hit most of the time. I think we’re all expecting them to make the playoffs and turn into the team from last year and it’s more likely they lose in the wildcard game 3-0.

You know, the thing about the Jays is, and not enough people are talking about it, the Leafs play this weekend

Christopher Nolan really testing my bladder with that near 3 hour run time on The Odyssey. Worth it though.
