I've (understandably) been asked quite a bit lately if I have a release date set for The Body at Clearwater Bay, so I wanted to bring you all up to speed. My plan has always been to release the game this year, and although I've made huge strides in the latest game's development, I'm not confident it will be ready in time to release in 2026. I learned a lot making Whispers at White Oak Inn. Some of what I've learned has helped me speed up development, and some of what I've learned has helped me slow down to make the game feel more polished.

Ok, I'm a little late to the new year, I admit, but I still have some new screenshots for you. One piece of feedback I received on Whispers at White Oak Inn was that some of the graphics were lacking. Totally fair. If I had the time, energy, and willpower, I would go through that whole first game and revamp it. Maybe I will someday, but it is not this day. I learned a lot on that first game, and I'm taking those new skills into making The Body at Clearwater Bay. You all don't know this about me, but I absolutely hate spoilers. I don't want people to spoil stories for me. I don't want to give away spoilers to anyone else, and I don't want to share anything about my game that might spoil even the littlest thing. I'm very tempted to just Taylor Swift a game, and drop it in the middle of the night with no warning. Playtesting has been ongoing, and I'd say it's going well! The players who have completed the game have told me how much they've enjoyed it! I'm thrilled to hear that. It's always nice to hear that people enjoy the work you've poured into a project. There have been some bumps along the way, but that's to be expected. I'm still working on any issues that come up and fixing any details I may have missed. The only major issue I've had is with the character models and animations in the game, but I knew that was a possibility.
