The Author // The Characters This feels like a good time to re-introduce myself, the art I commissioned, and the story I'm hoping to get published. This is OUR WILDEST DREAM. 👇 (1/4) Art by @alexcopeman.bsky.social! 💙📚

A picture of me—a Black male seated behind a stack of books, staring at the camera with his right hand against his chin and his left atop an open book. The most prominent of the titles, which face the camera, are Legendborn by Tracy Deonn and Blood Debts by Terry J. Benton Walker. Other titles include Blood Trials by Nia Davenport, Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen, The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin, Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko, The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna, and Blood at the Root by LaDarrion Williams.

The art is created by Alex Copeman, Instagram handle @alexcopeman. The art features a Black male teenager emitting purple energy from his hands at the center of his chest, eyes flushed purple as well. Behind him is another Black male teenager, his eyes on the first teenager with a grin while holding his fists out. The background includes a worn out Victorian home in a clearing within a forest, trees bare due to the season. A bright sky above it being corrupted by red energy from something we can't see.

time to test if any of my silly comics will show up well on here! now that jjk has ended, time to once again recommend this lovely confession scene from the fanfic 'third time's a chance' by altarrias on ao3!! [ #art #jjk #jujutsukaisen ]

Nobara and Megumi point blank confess to Yuuji that they like him. Yuuji misinterprets this to mean platonically.

Shocked by Yuuji's obliviousness, Nobara grabs Yuuji by the shoulder and insists that they like-like him. Yuuji repeats the words back at them, clearly still not taking it the right way. Megumi exasperatedly say, 'Oh my God' at their predicament.

Nobara then grabs Yuuji's hands, and plainly confesses that the two of them LOVE him. Yuuji wholeheartedly tells them he loves them too, since they're his best friends. It leaves the two of them speechless.

Seeing the two of them despondent, Yuuji hugs Nobara, and is then joined in by Megumi in a group hug. Yuuji tells them how they are both cute, and if they just wanted to be reassured with those words, he would happily tell them anytime they wanted him to. Embarrassed, Megumi asks Yuuji to stop.
