I’m now on annual leave until Jan 15 & am taking time away from social media too. Socials are vital to my life & are often spaces full of hope. However, socials are also increasingly toxic; a source of daily reading material which denigrates me & my kin & leads to anger, fear, or sorrow.

Today I'm marking #HumanRightsDay. I increasingly fear that human rights are under threat in the UK. Specifically, the rights of refugees, people of global majority heritage, trans people and disabled people.

Loved writing a chapter in here around trans pregnancy. An element of trans experience which is rarely discussed in the current discourse as it is not convenient to do so in light of binary narratives.

The Motability scheme is necessary for me to be able to work. The type of car I can drive as a disabled person is not available to me outside of the scheme.

Finally got pip decision. ook 9 months, and that is without appeals. During that time I have had to take out finance and ask for help to cover the gap, which I am grateful is something I was able to do.
