Specifically by hand. Well, not by hand, exactly, but, you know, the hard way. Fully manual generation. It's funny that we don't have a word for that. Nobody says "mangen". I guess it doesn't come up as often as autogen does. I listen to an autogen that's been running for over fourteen thousand episodes. It's true crime. I mean, it's fictional, but within the story, it's meant to be a true crime story. The Murder of Jenny Sforza. Unsolved!

Part of the conceit. "Unsolved!" is part of the title. "The Murder of Jenny Sforza. Unsolved!" The official pronunciation is just like that, with the sort of cheery upswing in the last word, like you're proud of it.
What's funny is that the generator has been running so long that while it started out being set in the real world, the investigation has now taken them to a made-up continent with its own countries and cities. There are also subplots involving, separately, magic, aliens, and an alternate Jenny Sforza from the future, who they have on sometimes. She even guest hosts when the regular hosts are out sick or whatever.

Just part of the format, I suppose. I don’t know how often podcasts were actually done with the normal hosts out sick, but I suppose the idea of a person being out sick is still rattling around the predictive matrix somewhere.

Just found *another* writing app I apparently used to use, and there is what appears to be a draft of an epistolary sci-fi novel in it, along with some weird smut, and what I am assuming is a satirical horror story, a kind of Kafka of the manosphere.

Certainly she would never have considered it a lie if she hadn't found out it wasn't true, and where was the fairness in blaming him for something he had never intended to be caught doing?
