Yep, totally possible like that as well! Only downside for me is that I like specific windows to have specific tags—putting them into a container groups them all onto one workspace/tag. Not an issue mechanically, but it’s more of a mental model block for me.

Totally agree having come from Awesome to Hyprland for a bit. Not to take anything away from Hyprland though, holy smokes it’s an incredible compositor. If you like Hyprland and don’t want to go the dwl route for Wayland, I definitely recommend Mango. It’s new, but it’s so good 🔥

Finally ironed out one of the most irritating issues I was facing when using TUIs (specifically AI-related ones) in tmux. The fix was so simple, but now that I've found it, everything feels so GOOD! www.alexandersix.com/posts/gettin...
