Russia has a simple way of bypassing any commitment to not attack other nations in its constitution. Just note how the russians 'amended their constitution' to include four Ukrainian oblasts. By this method, they don't have to 'invade' other countries. (2/)

They can simply amend their constitution to make another country - say, Latvia, a part of russia. Then they would not be invading when they sent troops in... they would merely be 'defending russia'. (3/)
