A friend who teaches theology shared with me a post about CS Lewis's Mere Christianity, which discusses foundational Christian logic across denominations. It reminded me of Dale's tweet below, and I wanted to share some thoughts here regarding modesty and respectability, which are often hot topics.

Dale Partridge on Twitter writes: "Feminist media is BIG mad about me saying that women shouldn’t wear underwear (leggings and sports bras) as outerwear.

As Pearl says, “It’s amazing how hard women will fight to be naked.”

Immodest ladies, read 1 Tim. 2:9, repent, and follow Christ."

Attached are two images.

Image 1 headline: “Outraged pastor slams worker at quaint coffee shop for wearing ‘sinful’ leggings and sports bra in front of kids”

Image 2 headline: “‘Make sin shameful again’: Pastor sparks row after sports bra complaint”

One way sighted people can determine what to put in alt text: Imagine you sent the post or article to a friend, and the image didn't load. What would someone need to know to get the equivalent experience and context? This will help you identify the important details.

I think this door is trying to prank me

Glass double doors to a store with a sign that says “Pull.” The doors have no handles or other means to pull them open.

Today is my birthday! Could you, please, share my art, it is the best gift an artist can get 💖

A close-up photo of me, a gremlin cat artist trying to pass as human 😸

An green/gold illustration of an elven maiden casting spell, with spirits gently surrounding her. Dragon Age inspired.

A portrait of a redhead aasimar with 4 spread wings and a blue eye on her forehead.

A poster-like illustration of Solas, Cass, and Fenris from Dragon Age. A ghostly, shining hand is touching Solas' chest (it's Lavellan!).

Chief among the Ring's powers is its ability to deceive.

Bilbo looking down at the Ring, labeled "Add AI to it" and says, why can't this be our entire product strategy?

This is such a great insight. I have learned so much by looking at documentation and finding interesting information that goes beyond the answer to my question. Be curious! Learn how stuff works and why. We learn so little by just being told an answer.
