Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 03/03/2026#fantasy #comic #art Hi, I haven't posted anything new in a while, here's a small comic. This was my first comic, I hope you like it. I'll post the second one soon, it's 99.9% ready. 060
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 18/01/2026Hey. So, I've talked about how I can't seem to finish proper projects and always switch to easier things... Yeah, I did it again. I went for something I could complete in one go. My apologies. #warcraft #warcraftart 070
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 17/01/2026As promised, I'm sharing some new sketches. I'm still working on the 3D model, but I've also decided to finish a big project I hadn't touched in a long time. I think I have this fear of finishing large projects... I always feel the urge to switch to something new. #warcraft #warcraftart 0151
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 13/01/2026Huge thanks, that's very nice to hear! I'm a fan of using black bars at the top and bottom, they really make the frame feel more cinematic and wide-screen. 010
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Thank you so much! I've never created a complex model for animation before. I really appreciate you showing the technique behind this result. It's incredibly satisfying to watch the pauldron follow the arm's movement so perfectly, over and over. 000
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026I have a lot of these quick pieces. Once, I even tried to turn them into a short video, but I never finished it - not sure why. I guess the thought of editing just stopped me in my tracks. But I still have some frames saved from that attempt. I think I'll post them someday as a little storyboard. 030
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026I love making quick, loose sketches - no line art, no underpainting, just fast results that don't require me to go all out. It's my way of making sure I don't forget how to draw in Photoshop. If you're into this kind of work, let me know! #warcraft #warcraftart 2156
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026The sheer amount of work behind a finished 3D model is staggering. This is a very cool result! Out of curiosity, do you rig it yourself or rely on a specific add-on for the bones? Would love to know your workflow. 100
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Your attention to textures and materials is next level. It's incredibly meticulous, yet it never feels cluttered. That sense of lightness you achieve is so inspiring! 000
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Retopology and I still have a... complicated relationship. My PC isn't the strongest, so handling high-poly models from ZBrush is always a bit of a struggle. But texturing? That's the part that makes it all worth it. It feels like pure magic after all the technical headaches. 010
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026I rarely even work in this style now. But back then, I dreamed of getting into a studio so badly... even though the pay was survival-level peanuts. This piece really was my "all" at that moment. Do you have a piece you're irrationally proud of, even if it's old or "imperfect" by today's standards? 010
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026At the time, this was my most complex piece ever. I was so afraid to ruin it that I ended up with hundreds of layers! But I'm still so proud I gave it 146%. Funny how we grow. 120
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Hi, a few years ago, I worked on this cover art for "The Braves" project. While I wasn't selected as the final illustrator, this piece represents a lot of time and heart. So, if you like it - it's yours. Feel free to download, use as a wallpaper, or get inspired. #art #illustration #fanart 140
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 09/01/2026I'm deeply in love with this universe—you could say I have a hyperfixation on it. I started drawing in the first place because I fell in love with its visual style. In a way, Warcraft might be the reason I became an artist. What does this universe mean to you? 120
Alexander Grishanov @alexanderart.bsky.social · 09/01/2026Hi everyone! I've been learning 3D modeling for a few months and want to share my journey as I work on a model of Illidan. I've never run social media before, but I feel ready to start. "You are not prepared!" they said. Well... I am now! #warcraftart #art 1100
